As Ghana’s leading local cosmetics manufacturing company, Ghandour Cosmetics has been catering for the beauty care needs of families for over 25 years and today provides job opportunities for 600 employees, serves millions of consumers in 15 countries across Africa with 17 brands and has supported over 10,000 Ghanaians through corporate social responsibility initiatives.

OUR HISTORY
The story of Ghandour Cosmetics began with the shared vision of 3 Ghandour brothers to establish a cosmetic company that provides quality and affordable products dedicated to African beauty. Stationed in different countries, they embarked on a search across West Africa for a hub to operate from. Ghana was the last country they visited in 1995 and aside from being favorable, welcoming, and safe, it instinctively felt like home.

Driven by passion and determination, the brothers combined their knowledge and experience in the cosmetic industry to begin operations in early 1997, creating iconic products such as Cynthia and La Perla.
​
Ghandour Cosmetics was instrumental in driving affinity for Made-in-Ghana cosmetic products between 1997-1999, when it was unpopular and till today uses the tag line “Proudly Ghanaian”.

From humble beginnings, in a small 600sqm space at North Industrial Area in Accra, Ghana, Ghandour Cosmetics has built a formidable brand that instills confidence that radiates African beauty.

From ideation to the technical lab, production to packaging, marketing to distribution, our people are committed to the responsibility of catering to our customers’ beauty needs and earning our customers’ loyalty by providing them with safe, quality and affordable products that give them confidence every day.

Our business is largely driven by our work with wholesalers and distributors on the open market. Over the last 25 years, we have built a mutually beneficial, loyal, and progressive relationship with our partners.

We produce from Ghana for Ghanaians, for Africans across the continent and for the rest of the world. We have footprints in Ghana, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Mali, Gambia, Ethiopia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea-Conakry, Tanzania, Niger, Sierra Leone, Senegal and counting.

Our organic growth and expansion have been based on putting our customers first, forging strategic partnerships, building a strong distribution network and consistent reinvestment into our business.
OUR FUTURE
We are constantly innovating through research and consumer insight to cater to a more demanding clientele. We will be seizing opportunities in the market to expand our distribution and enhance user access nationally and across the continent.

Ghandour Cosmetics is passionate about giving back to the country it has received so much from.
Children are our future and are at the core of our community investment initiatives. We have over the
years partnered with numerous orphanages and schools, providing them with essentials to enable them to thrive and empower them through education, so that they can in turn impact the world.
Having a hygiene care range in our product line, health and sanitation is naturally important to us in
helping to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we touch.

Empowering women & beauty professionals We are enthusiastic about empowering and celebrating women and beauty professionals. Over the years, we have supported beauty pageants, charity and social events and associations affiliated with hair and beauty, as our contribution towards advancing the industry.
